Book Recommendations

Remnants of a Life on Paper: A Mother & Daughter’s Struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder by Pamela Tuisani, Bea Tuisani, and Paula Tuisani Eng

“I recommend Remnants of a Life on Paper: A Mother & Daughter’s Struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder (Pamela Tusiani, Bea Tusiani, and Paula Tusiani-Eng) for its honest and layered portrayal of BPD. Through Pamela Tusiani’s journals, artwork, and poetry alongside her mother Bea’s reflections, the memoir conveys the emotional struggle, love, and resilience within their family while also revealing the difficulties of navigating treatments, hospitalizations, and legal systems. I found it both moving and illuminating, and I believe it can foster compassion and understanding for those living with BPD and their loved ones.” - Kellyann Navarre

Nice Girls Don’t Win: How I Burned It All Down to Claim My Power by Parvati Shallow

“This memoir, written by the famous Survivor winner and contestant on The Traitors and Deal or No Deal Island Parvati Shallow, is a captivating story about trauma, shame, and healing. As a massive Survivor and Parvati fan I had to buy this book, and was so impressed by Parvati’s honesty and reflection. I think this memoir is a fabulous example of non-linear healing, and is an engaging read from start to finish.” - Dayna Freeman
